What is the School Games?
The School Games is a unique opportunity to motivate and inspire millions of young people across the country to take part in more competitive school sport.
The Leicester-Shire & Rutland School Games is part of a national programme of competitive sport that is open to all young people in every school from across Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. It is a celebration of competitive sport that involves young people aged 5-18 years, of all abilities and backgrounds.
Delivered locally by Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) and the School Sport & Physical Activity Networks (SSPAN), the Leicester-Shire & Rutland School Games provides schools the chance to boost their existing work in school sport to create a year-round calendar of competition for all students.
Some of the local school fixture leagues will feed into an LRS School Games event. Look out for the School Games logo to see which competitions!

What is an SSPAN?
The School Sport & Physical Activity Networks (SSPANs) work within their locality area to build an integrated school sport model that begins with school learning and teaching outcomes but is clearly linked to a wider community sport, physical activity and health offer.

What does 'form' on the leaderboard tell me?
The 'form' will show the number of games/matches won (green), drawn (dark grey) and lost (red).
How do I view the leaderboard for a competition?
To view the leaderboard as a member of the public, click competitions at the top of the page, then select the chosen competition.
To view the leaderboard as a teacher, go to your dashboard (the first page you see when you login), then see your schools accepted competitions.
How do I register?
Teachers can register by clicking on the register button on the top bar of the homepage. Fill in your details on the form, make sure all * fields are completed and click Register.
How do I find out more information about a sport?
Use the search box or click sports at the top of the page, find your sport in the A-Z list and click on it. You will then see a list of fixtures, local clubs and events for that sport.

How do I find out more information about a competition?
Type the name of the competition into the search box or click competitions and search by sport, location, age or gender.
How do I find my schools fixtures?
Use the search box to type in your schools name or click on Schools at the top of the homepage and search by A-Z or area and then click on the school name. All leagues and events that your school have signed up to will then appear on the schools page.
To download fixtures, you need to be a teacher of the school with ownership of the page.
How do I enter a result?
You need to be a teacher with ownership of a school to enter a result. Login and click on the school profile button on the top right of the page and then click Enter Result.
To request ownership, click the request ownership button and then once you have been approved you will see your schools profile. This will enable you to enter results of your schools fixtures, edit your schools profile, accept / decline invitations for fixtures and enter results or download all your schools fixtures in a number of different ways, including straight into your calendar.
How do I connect myself to a school?
As a PE teacher, you can request ownership of your school by finding your schools profile - type into search box or click on the area of the map where your school is located. Click the request ownership button and then once you have been approved you will see your schools profile. This will enable you to enter results of your schools fixtures, edit your schools profile, accept / decline invitations for fixtures and enter results or download all your schools fixtures in a number of different ways, including straight into your calendar.
How do I change my password?
Click onto your profile, click edit profile, then click account, type in your new password and hit save.
How can I go back to the homepage?
Click the LRS icon on the top left of any page or click Home on the top bar.
