Hastings High School dominates county table tennis as they clinch U13s title

Six Schools took part in the U13 Boys Team Leicestershire Table Tennis Final on Tuesday 20th November at Knighton Park Table Tennis Club.
Hastings High School prove to be the dominant side in this year's Team Leicestershire season, with a 100% win record over its rivals across the county.
The finals featured Manor High School against the victors, who could have so easily nicked the title themselves, but it was Hastings who dug deep to win the crucial points to make all the difference. The final score finished 5-3, many of the games rallying up to 14-12 - a win by 2 clear straight points could only separate the sides apart.
Tim Smith from the Leicester-Shire & Rutland Schools Table Tennis Association quotes "It was the closest final he's have ever seen, and the teams were neck and neck all the way to the line". This shows just how much all teams have improved their game in what was a very entertaining game of table tennis to watch.
The next Team Leicestershire final to be played is the U13,16 and 18 Girls table tennis at Judgemeadow Community College on Thursday 29th November.
